DISPLACED MOM AND KITTIES, DESPERATE FOR HELP!!

Hi,  My name is Windy and I am trying to help out a wonderful neighbor and friend. Laura is such a special giving person, always willing to do for others and never expecting anything in return. She is an animal lover, always willing to pet sit at a moments notice. She recently returned home from a long weekend away with her friend Tracy whom she had met five years earlier at a women's church group, to a terrible home disaster that has left her and her two beloved kitties displaced and homeless. A water pipe had burst and proceeded to fill her home with water while she was away. Here is Tracy's account of the disaster. As we returned to Laura's home and started to unload the car, we both looked at each other with overwhelming dread as we saw water coming from under the front door to the wet cement pad below. Laura slowly opened the door as the flood of water rushed out over the tops of our feet! The dread turned to horror as I thought she would buckle as she saw her personal items floating around the room. Some antiques passed down from her family, photos and photo collages and things that could never be replaced. Her two kitties were on top of the furniture crying, Laura scooped up her two babies relieved  that they were alive and well.  Her kitties Mushu and Noodles are adorable  and currently living in a screened in porch area, they need their home back! Laura feels blessed to have friends that have been giving her a place to stay. Unfortunately she lost the majority of her personal items and furniture to the water damage including the A/C system and is in desperate need of help. To avoid mold issues, her home had to be almost completely gutted as you can see in the photos. Unfortunately her insurance company is not covering  any loss of her contents or personal items and only limited coverage to the structure. Please donate to this wonderful deserving lady.
