Our favorite friend, neighborhood association President, and Highland Park/Oak Park advocate Ashley Kennebeck is currently hospitalized after a horrific assault - robbed, beaten & left alone. She has two brain bleeds, numerous facial fractures, a large amount of swelling & bruising.
She has had to replace several personal items that were stolen and will have medical bills from her hospital stay and numerous follow up appointments.
Several people have indicated they'd like to donate to a GoFundMe for Ashley, so please feel free to make a donation and drop a note of well wishes to her! I will try to post updates on her progress as well.
