Hello! My name is Miranda, I am an independent film maker raising money for my new film, Valerie. This is a story of a woman who gets committed to a mental health facility only to plot an escape to go to the diner across the street. Expressed through dreamy and surreal visuals, this independent short film explores heartache, depression, and hope.
Production Timeline:
We will be filming in late April early May 2026. We would like to reach our goal of $5,000 by the beginning of April, just in time for spring! Even if we fall short of our ultimate fundraising goal, we have a committed team, a thorough plan, and the experience to keep going no matter what. If you are unable to contribute money, you can help in numerous other ways. To help this film come to life, you can share this campaign on social media, send it to friends, family, or colleagues, and help spread the word!
