As an Ecuadorian living abroad it is very difficult to see how Saturday’s earthquake has devastated my country, and like many others want to help. Hundreds of people have lost their lives, thousands are injured, and there are millions of dollars in structural damages in some of the poorest parts of the country. The recovery and reconstruction efforts require many resources and I ask that you make a donation to help provide people with water, food, medical supplies, mosquito nets, personal hygiene kits (diapers for children and adults, sanitary napkins, wet wipes, toothpaste, soap, insect repellent), and for the recovery and reconstruction efforts.
I will be travelling to Ecuador this Friday and will ensure 100% of your donations go to reputable organizations that will use the money you generously donate for recovery, reconstruction and emergency supplies.
PLEASE SHARE THIS POST AND DONATE WHAT YOU CAN, even $1 will make a difference.
THANK YOU!
