In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
Assalam o Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un
On August 27th 2024, Amina Hussain, a loving daughter, sister, cousin, and most importantly, a devoted mother of two beautiful children, peacefully passed away. Those fortunate enough to have known Amina remember her as an incredibly selfless and humble person. She was always caring, compassionate, and carried a smile that lit up every room she entered.
In late March, Amina was expecting her second child. She cherished being a mother and loved her children more than words can express. Unexpectedly, Amina suffered a cardiac arrest and was taken to the Royal Papworth Hospital, where she remained for five months. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, she sadly did not survive.
Through the five months Amina spent in the hospital, she exhibited immense patience and maintained a smile on her face despite the pain she endured. She never gave up and fought bravely until her last breath. Amina peacefully passed away on August 27th, exactly five months after being admitted.
In Islam, after one passes away, their good deeds come to an end except for three things: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them. We are currently raising funds to build an Islamic school in Amina's name. Constructing a Sadaqah on behalf of the deceased is considered one of the most significant deeds that provides continuous rewards for believers. “When a school is built with the purpose of ongoing charity for the deceased, it is considered a continuation of worship and charity from which the deceased will benefit in the Hereafter.”
All funds will be put towards building an Islamic School for local children in Kotli Azad Kashmir, Pakistan closeby to her family home and relatives. The school will offer an educational institute which incorporates Islamic studies, Quranic education, Arabic language and moral values based on Islamic principles inshallah. This form of Sadaqah Jariyah will emphasise the importance of contributing to a cause that will create a lasting positive impact in Amina's name.
Please consider contributing what you can towards this noble act of Sadaqah Jariyah to honor our beloved Amina Hussain.
May Allah (SWT) grant her the highest ranks in Jannah, widen her grave, and allow us to reunite with her one day. May Allah (SWT) reward everyone who contributes, both in this life and the next.
Jazakallah Khair.
