It is with heavy hearts that we share that our father Angel Lopez Sr is battling stage 4 colon cancer, which has spread quickly and aggressively. This has been an incredibly painful and overwhelming time for our family as we try to prepare for what’s ahead while cherishing every moment we have left with him.

I wanted to reach out and let you know that we are asking fundraising for out dear father Angel Lopez Sr. A little over a year ago he had a stroke which cause him to lose more then 30 percent of his brain and it cause permanent damage to the way we all know him to be.

On May 26, my father went to the hospital after he fell in the bathroom. After going to the hospital, we found out he had Stage 4 colon cancer. We had great hopes he can do chemo and surgery. However, because of the stroke,he was too weak for it. Basically the doctor told us, “ When God calls, he will call”. They gave my father only a couple of months to live. My Father has lost more then a 100 pounds of weight. The cancer has spread and there’s not much we can do. My father is in hospice at the house and can go at any minute. He doesn’t move from his bed. He does not walk anymore and he barely eats. Because of the stroke and cancer he barely communicates any more.

Our father is a loving husband and will be leaving behind 5 kids who love and adore him. Our father is a loving, kind, and selfless man who has always put his family first. He deserves to be laid to rest with dignity, respect, and the love he has shown throughout his life. Unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral and burial expenses is more than our family can manage on our own.

We are asking for help to cover the costs of his burial so that we can honor him properly and give him the farewell he deserves. Any contribution—no matter how small—will help ease this burden and allow us to focus on supporting one another during this heartbreaking time.
