***Emergency Update***
My Landlord filed a judgment against me during the period in which I was in recovery from my recent accident. I am now being faced with having to be evicted and need to move out by April 4th if I am not able to come up with the money owed to the landlord as originally requested. I was granted the ability to stay in my apartment so long as I was able to pay my rent on time starting this month but due to my accident, I was not able to work and was not able to make the funds needed to pay my rent on time. I spoke with the landlord and they were fine with my reasoning and stated that they understood my plight. However, behind the scenes, they were using that as a reason to get a judgment against me. PLEASE help me raise the funds needed to allow me and my family to stay in my apartment.
Hi, My name is Jose or as some of you know me as Coach Jojo! Last month on Monday, Feb 13th at 2:50 pm as I was biking to the BART to get to work at Crunch Fitness where I am a Personal Trainer in the Yerba Buena district of San Francisco , I got hit by a truck. I was crossing the intersection of San Pablo and Barrett when the driver ran a red light. I am lucky enough to be alive. I sustained four seperate fractures to my face and a major laceration to my inner thigh which was not caught by emt I got home and was undressing and a piece of my inner thigh flapped open. This cut was in between my groin and next to a main artery. I wasn't meant to go and can't since I am a single father my son depends on me. my injuries are severe enough to cause me to be out of work for at least 3 to 4 weeks. As a personal trainer, I am not able to service my clients if I am not able to perform at a 100% myself. So being able to work means not being able to continue to make money to pay my costs due for the eviction plus my current rent costs. Any help you can provide me to help cover these costs would be very much appreciated.
