A plea for help in attaining my dream of a transplant.
Hello, I am a 45 year old father of 3. My wife and I have two small children ages 4 and 2. I also have a grown son. As some of you might know, i'm in need of a kidney transplant.I'm looking for potential kidney donors, as well as monetary donations to help offset expenses including for the donor. I live a fairly private life and I usually stay away from asking for a handout but in this case I feel I have no choice but to ask for assistance. I have a beautiful and caring wife and two wonderful kids at home and would love to be here for them for a long time. I'd love nothing more than to see my boys go off to college...that is my goal/dream... I am currently on the UNOS list for a deceased organ. Though, a living organ lasts longer and has a better chance of not being rejecting. So, I am asking that you share this page and help me get the word out. Then maybe I can get a kidney and much needed monetary support for expenses for my donor and after care. Any and all will help. I understand that lots of people are having trouble making ends meet right now. but if you could spare anything, I will be eternally grateful. Thank you, Gerard Anthony Davis.
