The gift of organ donation is a very emotional journey for everyone involved. Jake has been waiting for 9 yrs for a new pancreas, liver, stomach, and both intestines. He was born with a very rare disease called Microvillis Inclusion Disease. My sister finally received the call they have all been waiting for and Jake received a 5 organ transplant yesterday. The long road ahead will be the hardest and most challenging; 2 months in the hospital along with a 3 month stay in Pittsburg, PA. This little boy along with his family are stronger than most in this world and would benefit from even a prayer! We love you all!
