UHCL Family Therapy Student Association Fundraiser

University of Houston-Clear Lake is home to the oldest accredited Marriage and Family Therapy program in Texas. We are known in Houston and all of Texas for consistently producing well-rounded, competent, and passionate family therapists through our three year masters program. Unfortunately, in the fall of 2022, after high staff turnover and clerical errors at the administrative level we lost our accreditation. This came shortly after welcoming in a bright new group of students eager to learn; who were completely blindsided by this loss. This resulted in lowered enrollment numbers and losing accessibility to funding, even though our curriculum and mission to strive for excellence has remained the same. We need your help!

With your contribution, you can join the Family Therapy Student Association at UHCL (FTSA) in making a lasting impact on the lives of families in need. Your support will enable us to provide vital mental health services to underserved communities, helping families heal and thrive. With your generous contribution, we can continue to train and empower the next generation of skilled family therapists, who will make a difference in countless lives. Together, let's strengthen the foundation of families, because every family deserves the chance to experience love, support, and growth.

Your donation will go directly towards funding trainings hosted by our association which aim to give our students a more well-rounded education. These trainings also help us connect and give back to the community that we serve so proudly. Currently, we have students all over the Houston area working in schools, non-profit organizations, private practices, and the school's clinic which provides sliding scale services to the Clear Lake community. Your contribution will not only aid to the education of our budding family therapists, but in turn, the lives that they will touch for years after graduating from UHCL. Thank you and Go Hawks!
