New momma!

This fundraiser is to help Lauren Stewart ( Dr . Lo) and her new little family.

July 11 this year she gave birth to the sweetest baby boy. This is her first baby and he was named Calvin Lee. Not too long after getting home from hospital she started to feel sick. She had developed an infection. During the diagnostics for her infection they found a mass on her ovary. They waited a few weeks to heal from her infection and got surgery set up for the mass.

September 6th she had surgery to remove the mass and experienced some complications and ended up in the ER. The painful aftermath of the complications left her again restricted and needing care along with caring for a newborn.

A week after her ovary surgery her appendix ruptured. She was rushed to the ER again to have emergency surgery where she was hospitalized for a few days.

Things seemed to be okay and she was finally released. However, not soon after getting home she became ill again. Rushed to the ER again they found a large abscess had formed inside her pelvis.

Since then there was a drain placed and Lauren has been in and out of the ER and hospital. Currently she is again hospitalized in Bend for possibly going septic. The future for her in unknown at this time.

Those of you who know Lauren ( also known as Dr.Lo) know that she loved working with animals and their people as a veterinarian. She was also so very excited for the birth of her son. Who is doing really well.

All of these trials have been so difficult on this new family. They are blessed to have amazing support network around to help with the baby when she is hospitalized.

Unfortunately Dr. Lo has not been able to return to work and it is unclear when she will be able to. Her partner Zack had also had to take a lot of time off work to help at home. They are needing all the help they can get financially to cover living expenses. Any little bit helps.
