Mother's Worst Nightmare

I was blessed with two daughters – Carmen and Kristie.   I lost my oldest daughter Carmen to breast cancer in September 2018. It was unexpected and we are still grieving the loss of such an incredible women.  I lost my daughter, Carmen, and in January 2019 my youngest daughter, Kristie, age 44.

44 was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is a single mother with two children ages 23 and 26. .  On February 11, 2019 Kristie had an unexpected Spigelian hernia surgery which is very rare and involves the ovaries and fallopian tubes and was off work for three weeks.  Kristie had a double mastectomy on March 6, 2019. I have been traveling as much as I can to go and help her.  She elected to have reconstructive surgery.  We just found out that she will require Chemotherapy as well. Kristie’s daughter Alexis moved from Minnesota to care for her mother and had to leave her job and apartment. As a mother, I would do anything to help take this away from my child. I am asking for donations to help take some stress off of Kristie. I want her to focus on beating this cancer and not worry about how she will pay for everything. Kristie has a job that provides insurance which will pay some but as you know medical bills can add up very fast. She will have many bills due not being able to work during this time this includes- daily living expenses like food, gas to get to and from treatments and appointments, rent, and utility bills. 

Our goal is $10,000.00 any donation from a $1.00 on up will be greatly appreciated.

Our family has suffered so much already. Any amount helps.
