Dreamer Short Film

Hello, my name is Samanta, but you can call me Reign. I am a student in Full Sail University's Film Production MFA Program. I am fundraising for my thesis film, "Dreamer" a Family Friendly Sports Drama, an artistic short film inspired by watching my daughter and her friends practicing their ice skating routines. In this film, Amelia wants to try again to make the Olympic team with her best friend Riley, but her inner doubts get the better of her, and she wants to come them over and prove she can make it.

As a filmmaker, I would love to contribute to bringing a unique vision to figure skating and the artistic value of the human imagination that generates expectations of change through supporting each other and showing the challenges within oneself. For many, this also connects to many of us who have doubts and sike ourselves out. The fact of respecting personal decision-making faces cultural challenges that make us put aside our dreams and happiness. This story provides love, laughter, inspiration, and charm.
