My 75-year-old mom, Gillian McTavish lost everything she owns in a devastating fire yesterday May 6th 2025.

She had just settled into her new home, a place she was finally happy to call her own. Unfortunately, she didn't have insurance—she was recently called in for urgent hip surgery and was so focused on preparing her home and recovering that she missed that crucial step.

Now, as she heals from surgery, she’s faced with the heartbreak of losing everything she had.
