This is my sister Toya and her two children
This story was shared 17 months ago on August 08, 2020. A semi- truck driver lost control of the 18 wheeler he was driving, causing him to go off the turnpike, driving uncontrollably through the backyard of homes crashing into my sister house that she purchased 6 months prior. She contacted her insurance company when the incident occurred. The insurance company gave her no answers or a solution to help ease the pain and hurt they endured at that moment. Giving Praise and Thanks to God, they had just left the home 10 minutes prior to the semi crashing into the kitchen. With multiple calls to the insurance company and people that witnessed the incident coming to her aid to assist anyway possible, the insurance finally decided to put them in a hotel room. My sister and her children lived in a hotel for months. The Holidays came and the hotel is where they spent Thanksgiving and Christmas . This alone made it more emotional for the family. They were happy to have a place to lay their heads, but nothing is like being in your own home. My sister is a single mom and she does her best to provide for her children. She works daily as a Nurse and have one source of income. With everything that is still happening since this horrible incident
She is still enduring so much and trying to be strong for her children. At one point, she had to seek medical attention due to the excessive stress. She is paying rent at the place she resides with her children and mortgage at the home that was destroyed and she cannot live in. The home appears the same, as the pictures that is provided. With COVID being present, she has missed days of work, due to close contact, her or the children having the virus. Therefore,, I decided to do the GO FUND ME for her and the children. This is the beginning of the month, which means the rent and mortgage is due. I am asking all my family and friends to donate any monetary to help ease some of the stress and frustration my sister is having to endure. She has home insurance, why must she go through the turmoil? The sad thing is, she had to explain to her children how their Christmas would be, due to her trying to maintain the rent and mortgage, along with other priorities. The children were sad and cried to witness the sadness and hurt in their moms eyes. I and my family are doing what we can to help in anyway possible. However, with other family and friends, it would be a blessing if we all come together to help this family! My sister is kind, funny, caring and loving. One could not tell she is going through so much. Hopefully, a decision will be made soon on the outcome of her home. I am claiming her blessing now. God will work it out in her favor. Toya is one to Pray and keep the faith that God will come through at his time. PLEASE SHARE THIS POST!
Even if you can't donate, a word of prayer and encouragement would be greatly appreciated.
