FTK Christmas Challenge 2020
Donation protected

The fundraiser is going directly to the kids on the 6th floor at Hasbro Children's Center in Providence, somewhere that I have spent time working. The money will be put towards activities, special meals, arts and crafts (the kids love to paint but it is expensive), holiday gifts, and other things that will enhance their time spent without their families this holiday season.
The pandemic has made things more difficult for everyone, there is no doubt about it. One of my favorite things about the holidays is spending time with my family and eating good food. These kids are not able to do the same, and food from outside the hospital is not allowed unless it is under special circumstances (receiving Thanksgiving food from families was not allowed.) One of our visions is to help to provide the 6th floor with enough funds to replicate a true holiday environment, complete with everything from authentic food to activities to do for fun.
We are asking for any sort of monetary donation that you can afford this holiday season. In addition, as we challenge more and more people we are asking those who complete the challenge to donate $5 and those who do not complete the challenge after being nominated to donate $10. Of course larger donations will be excepted and greatly appreciated.
We both will be donating $100 each to start off. During the holidays I always feel it is more rewarding to give rather than receive. During these challenges just think about the smiles on these kids faces.
Although the fundraiser will go on until December 25th we would like to get most donations by December 21st in order to give the hospital time to utilize the money.
