UPDATE: From the x-rays done on my hip, they ended up discovering cancer in my kidney. I have surgery January 13th to remove it. I will have a 4-6 week recovery ahead after that. I am trying to solidify funds to be able to recover without worrying about any financial burdens. Thank you so much.
Paying directly saves on the fees GFM takes out and also saves me the days it takes to process if you’d like to donate directly to me:

Many of you already know that on July 9th I was in a car accident breaking my sternum and hip, requiring major hip surgery, and totaling my truck. I have to use a walker, and a wheelchair for long distances, and do physical therapy twice a week in DC for the next few months.
When the accident first happened, I was against any kind of GoFundMe. If you know me, you know I’m not typically the type of person that likes to ask for help. But as the reality and weight of the situation has settled in, I’ve decided to go ahead and make one of these. At my first post-surgery check up, my surgeon extended my recovery time from 10 weeks to 3 months. My physical therapy is also twice a week an hour away in DC, because my insurance wouldn’t cover anywhere closer. There is also a couple thousand dollars of hospital bills that it did not cover. I am also obviously not working for the foreseeable future. So due to all of those reasons, I decided to go ahead and make a GFM.
Funds will go towards basic life necessities so I can put all of my focus on recovering, getting rides to physical therapy, covering the hospital bills that insurance didn’t cover, and if there’s anything left at the end of this, it will be put towards a new vehicle.
Thank you so much to anyone that has helped me through this, whether it be donating, sharing, praying, or helping keep my spirits up. I really appreciate all of you more than I can express.
GFM does take a percentage out of donations and takes some time to get, so if you’d like to send me anything directly:

Thank you so much
Love,
Holden
