Support a Single 36 years old Mom Fighting Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Olena and her son Zahar came to Saskatoon 2,5 years ago. They were looking for a safe place because of the war. They don't have any relatives or other family members in Canada.
Olena bravely withstood all the trials of fate, fulfilling the role of both parents, raising her 10-year-old son, and working hard in a new country.
In summer 2024, Olena noticed some changes in her health. She immediately looked for medical help. She underwent medical tests and blood work for a couple of times to find the cause of her illness.
In January 2025, she was urgently hospitalized and immediately had intestinal surgery.
18 February 2025, Olena received the biopsy results. She was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 stomach cancer. This news has been incredibly challenging for the family, both emotionally and financially.
Olena is not able to work now. She spends a lot of time at RUH (Hospital). The expenses have increased due to her illness. Not all of the medical needs are covered by the Provincial medical coverage.
Zahar is a Grade 4 student at Bishop-Filevych School. He is aware of Mom's illness. It's hard for a 10-year-old child, but he believes in miracles. He prays.....
Olena's family friend is looking after Zahar while she is in the hospital. Due to the war and the long paperwork, the possibility of his father's coming is questionable.
THE FAMILY NEEDS OUR HELP! IT IS VITAL!
Medical staff are doing everything they can to support her, but Olena needs your help.
Your kindness and generosity will make a difference in a family's life.
Your thoughts and well wishes mean the world to them during this challenging time.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
