Hello Everyone my name is Michael. I am creating this page for my wonderful wife Jessica. Jess is a fighter and has had a crazy year. She has been a type 1 diabetic since she was 8 years old and in April of last year, Jess had her left leg amputated below the knee from complications of the diabetes and sepsis. She was working hard in therapy and was thisclose to walking on her prosthetic. Unfortunately in November, she started to have trouble with her other leg. She needed that leg amputated as well, this time above the knee, just seven months after the first. Medical bills, two prosthetic legs, modifications to the house and putting hand controls in her car is going to cost us a lot. Jess has been dealing with health problems her entire life. Diabetes, lupus, RA, rheumatic heart disease, strokes, kidney disease and others. Any help you could give us would be greatly appreciated. I want Jess to be able to live a full and active life.
