Fuel the Fight - DC Metro Area

COVID-19 has been haunting all of us; this whole pandemic feels like a bad dream. While many of us have the luxury of staying home and protecting ourselves, the selfless medical professionals and hospital workers are going into work as usual. These professionals are saving lives and keeping the health world running the best that they can.

We can't all just step in and monitor COVID-19 patients, so, what can we do? We can give these professionals and the hospital staff in the DC Metro area and beyond food to keep them moving and shaking during this health crisis.

We are taking a page from @fuelthefightNYC book and fueling the fight right here in Maryland. As we get updates about restaurants that are supporting us, we will post it to this page. What can you all do until then?

(1) Spread the word - post this to social media, e-mail to your family and friends, etc.
(2) Donate - the smallest and largest donations all help; everything makes a difference, so if you have the means to, please donate.
(3) Thank any and all healthcare workers and hospital staff that you can - need I say more?

Let's fuel the fight my fellow Marylanders! Thank you for your kindness; as a nursing student, I can't do much but support those who have taught me and are sacrificing their own health to support myself and everyone in the country.
