Ladies and Gentlemen, Friends and Family… as you know we lost our dearest brother, son, cousin, uncle, friend and all-around super awesome guy, CARLOS ROBERTO RENOVALES, on May 5 th . His passing is completely unexpected and shocking, but his final rest was peaceful and eternal. He joins the angels and so many other loved ones taken from us far too soon.

Many of you have asked in what way you can help, especially those that live outside of San Diego. The cards, emails and flowers received so far have reminded us how blessed we are to have such amazing family and friends in our circle. THANK YOU! If you are compelled to further express your love and support for him, his mother Carmen, and the rest of the family in a financial capacity, we thank you with all our hearts. This campaign is dedicated to capturing your contribution and putting it towards final expenses and any surplus will go to charitable causes.

Carlos will always be remembered for his amazing effect on everyone he met. Whether he knew you for 30 years or 30 seconds, he always found a way to make you smile, feel welcome and find joy. He was always ready for an adventure at any time… day or night. We should all be so lucky to live so entirely in the moment as he did. It is hard to imagine that we can’t create new memories with him in the future, but of course we have the volumes of memories, pictures, videos and great stories from the past. By sharing those with each other we can keep his spirit alive for ages to come. More importantly, we have one another to lean on, to pray with and to seek comfort through the emotions and the tears.

We will hold his Memorial Mass at St. Therese church. It is a Catholic service by nature, but that does NOT mean it is exclusive of any faith, creed or otherwise. Due to timing, only a few family members will read bible passages or share a small eulogy. Therefore, we invite everyone to join us AFTER church for a reception and celebration in Carlos’s honor.

• Service will start promptly at 11am for approximately 45 to 60 minutes
• Hosted lunch Reception and entertainment to commence around 12:30pm
• Location will be Rob & Lindsey’s home at 1428 Emerald Ave., El Cajon, CA 92020
• Carlos loved children, so of course your kids are welcome
• We will have a microphone for those who would like to speak
