Moving disaster

Donation protected
My family and I were just hours away from relocating to Alaska for work as nurses when criminals changed everything. We moved out of our apartment, packed the moving truck, and checked into the Radisson hotel to get a little rest before an 8-day drive. When we went downstairs to our car in the morning, three windows were smashed and among other things, a file containing all of our vital documents was stolen with the contents of our car. Computers, camera, tablet, and the entire family's birth certificates, social security cards, passports, and my military service records prevent us from crossing the Canadian border. The most heartbreaking part was they even stole the Easter baskets for my two boys.
We called the police, but they were unable to respond due to staffing. We filed our report online. While cleaning out the car of broken glass, we found other families in the parking lot going through the same scene. In total, 3 cars were broken into and robbed, and 2 cars were stolen from the parking lot. We went to the hotel concierge desk, and were told, " Oh no, not again!". Now we have learned this hotel has quite a reputation for break-ins and theft. We called the hotel manager and they refused to speak with us. The hotel has no cameras outside and the regional manager hasn't returned any calls or requests from us.
We filed our claims with our insurance companies, the damage to the car is more than glass and is currently over $5500 in damages. None of our other policies will pay for any of the expenses and losses, everything else has been denied. Our hotels which were booked and paid for were not refunded (over $1000), and the moving truck which sits loaded with our belongings ($6700) was not refundable. So far, replacing just documents alone has cost $ 250 for birth certificates and $ 1400 for passports. We are unfortunately unable to move to Alaska until the documents get here so we can pass through Canada and the car is repaired.
Beyond the police, beyond the hotel, beyond the insurance companies, we have looked to every avenue possible and now we are humbly asking for help. We will be here in Colorado for at least another week or two, without a home and no way to provide for ourselves, we have used every bit of savings and credit. Once we have our documents, we still need to replace the moving truck for the next leg of the journey and fuel, hotels, and food. Please consider any donations and prayers, we have 3 kids, my wife is pregnant with our 4th and we simply don't know how we will get through without help.
