Emergency RENT!

Hello-

I'm Jana- I am a 55 year old widow. I was recently laid off from my employer. I've got another opportunity, but it with a federal contractor and the background check is taking forever! I'm having a meltdown because I cannot pay my upcoming rent. I am scared to death. I now live in a corporately owned complex and I am terrified they are going to evict me.

I have some money, just not enough to cover. I've tried county resources, and no one is able to help me. I've applied for unemployment benefits, but they "investigating" and this could take weeks.

I cannot eat, sleep or do anything aside from freaking out over my rent payment. I've never been in this situation before.

I hate to do this, but I am desperate at this point.
