On August 19, 2025, our dear friend Rebecca was unexpectedly hospitalized after experiencing unexplained bruising and fatigue. After extensive testing, she received the devastating diagnosis of leukemia.

Rebecca will begin treatment soon, including chemotherapy, under the excellent care of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle. While she undergoes this life-saving treatment, she will be unable to work and may need to move into Fred Hutch housing to best protect her immune system.

If you know Rebecca, you know how deeply she loves her family—including Justin and their pups, Bubba and Guillermo. A portion of the donations will also help support their care, especially Guillermo, who struggles with separation anxiety when away from Rebecca.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help ease the financial stress of everyday living expenses such as rent, groceries, utilities, transportation, and other unexpected costs. This will allow Rebecca and Justin to focus fully on her healing and recovery.
