Helping Holli
Friends, family and community.
It is with much sadness to say that at the beginning of October Holli-Mia Brattan was diagnosed with Acute Mixed Phenotype (AML/ALL) which is a really rare and aggressive Leukaemia. We’ve decided to set up this page as Holli’s close friends in the hope that the generosity of her friends and the community will support Holli in her long journey ahead.
Holli has spent the last 7 weeks in Princess Alexandra Hospital undergoing intense chemotherapy, transfusions, lumber punctures and many other tests and treatments. For many months to come she will have a minimum of 3 visits per week plus lengthy admissions in the Princess Alexandra hospital to undergo parts of her chemotherapy treatment and her bone marrow transplant that she is currently waiting for in the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
Holli is 22 years old from Brisbane and full of love and generosity for everyone around her. Since being diagnosed Holli has exhausted all available leave options at work and has no current income. The funds raised will cover all medical bills from medications to assisting in everyday expenses, travel to and from hospital, hospital parking and week to week bills in the coming months.
Holli being the person she is has always turned down any help however we are hoping that the financial burden ahead will be eased by creating this page so our dear Holli-Mia can concentrate on her recovery without the added stress.
We will be posting updates along the way if you’d like to follow Holli’s journey.
Thank you in anticipation for your generosity every donation counts.
