UPDATE 4/16
Hi friends and fam. It’s been a month so wanted to do an update on Ashley…Ashley is @ home but still on the feeding tube. We are coming up on 5 weeks with the feeding tube and now know Ashley will require another surgery to remove stents that were placed in her stomach to prevent bile back up. We aren’t sure when this surgery will be yet. We are very hopeful it will be a successful surgery and that Ash will get to come back home without a feeding tube and be able to enjoy food again! We just ask for prayers for comfort, peace and healing for Ashley and patience and strength for T as he is her main caregiver. We appreciate all the donations and prayers. Please keep sharing as this is a trying time going down to one income now. Thanks all & as always please keep Ashley, T and their families in your prayers❤️
UPDATE 3/17/2025…
Hello all. I am here to give the latest update on Ashley and her cancer battle. She is finally home after 2 full weeks in the hospital and a couple set backs. It was determined that they punctured Ashley’s esophagus during her initial surgery Feb 26. Her stomach was leaking bile so they had to go in 3 different times in the past 2 weeks to repair it. Unfortunately they had to put Ashley on a feeding tube. She got to go home with hospice care and will need the feeding tube for atleast 6 more weeks at this point. We are very thankful she is home atleast and this was one of our prayers answered but this is going to be a tough time for her and Tony. Tony is her main caregiver and he is also having to work full time as well. We need all the prayers we can get that Ashley’s cancer will stay at bay and that she can come off the feeding tube in the future. Ashley hasn’t given up and I know she won’t. But they need our support in any way shape or form please. Share and keep Tony , Ashley & their families in your prayers. It’s greatly appreciated
Hi…. This is Kristin. Ashley’s mother in law with an update. Was hoping we wouldn’t need to do this again but unfortunately we do. After Ashley’s last kidney removal surgery in late Sept 2024 she hasn’t fully recovered. The past couple months have been very hard for her and she has been in a ton of pain. She finally got a scan only to get the horrible news that 3 more tumors were found in and around her pancreas. Ashley’s Drs have given her the grim news that this cancer is most likely unbeatable. Ashley underwent surgery Feb 26 where 2 tumors were able to be removed but one was not surgically possible. Ashley will be started on a cancer drug after recovery that will give her a 50/50 shot at helping her. This past Friday she had another set back where her stomach was leaking and she needed another surgery to repair that. She will remain in the hospital for atleast the next week, then start her recovery at home. We are all just devastated for Ashley and Tony but we have faith God will get her thru and we are hopeful the new drug will help her. We are asking for any help at all so they can get thru this next hurdle and get some peace of mind atleast with incoming bills since they will be down to just one income. I know so many of you have donated in the past and we GREATLY appreciate. Please share this and keep Ashley, Tony, and their families in your prayers. Ashley is a strong woman but this is taking a toll on all of us. Thanks everyone❤️
