My mom, Shelley, just had surgery on her tongue to remove a cancerous lesion. They had to remove a portion of the left side of her tongue. They also removed a couple of her lymph nodes from her neck to test for more cancer to see if it has spread. They found microscopic traces of cancer so they will be doing another surgery in early March to remove another 30-40 lymph nodes just to be safe and make sure they remove any and all cancer cells.

My mother is struggling with her surgery bills with the amount of work she has had to take off to recover, and she will need to take more time off after her second surgery. She may also have to do speech therapy to learn how to talk properly again. I am asking for any help for her. Please keep my mom in your prayers for a quick recovery. Thank you so much.
