FTL. Flood recovery assistance for my niece.

Dear Friends and Family,
I have initiated this Go Fund Me account for my Niece Natasha, and her 12 y.o. son Khamari, who are currently displaced from their home due to the record-breaking rainstorms and a Flash Flood Emergency that occurred in Ft. Lauderdale, FL recently on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. They both were home when at 9pm, the waters started rushing in from under the front and back doors (3). This was a very traumatic experience for them! To add to this crisis, she recently had a job loss and has been diligently looking for new employment these past weeks. She received news of a job offer just Tuesday before the Wednesday storm; however, this will take another few weeks before she gets cleared to start and starts receiving steady income.
Natasha grew up in South Fla and was excited to relocate back in 2021. After hard work, she was finally getting her life underway with a home for herself, her son, and their Dog-Truth! I visited with her 2 weeks ago and she was happy that her hard work was finally coming together. Unfortunately, Wednesday's storm set all that hard work back! Due to this historic flooding, they are unable to return home as the home suffered substantial damage including most of her furniture, clothing, and to add to the devastation, her only vehicle was flooded ruining the engine.
It will take some time for the home to be restored as this was contaminated water that entered her home and mold already growing. They are staying with a friend's for now who was kind enough to make room for them.
My niece is a hard-working young woman and an excellent Mother to her son Khamari. Khamari has exceeded at school and was recently identified as an Exceptional Gifted Student in Florida scoring A honor role for the past 3 quarters of this school year.
As a concerned Aunt and family members, I am asking if you would kindly give a contribution to my niece’s fund which will help this young family recover their losses and help them navigate through this unprecedented situation! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
