Getting screwed- Amber’s Spinal Fusion Recovery

Amber is a full time mom, wife, & volunteer troop leader for the Girl Scouts. She has been dealing with neck and shoulder pain/nerve issues for several years and was recently diagnosed with a herniated disc in her cervical spine along with several spots of narrowing with bone spurs.

Amber is always the first to take care of every one else when they need and now her and her family need our help. She will be undergoing ACDF surgery this Thursday and the recovery period will be around 4 weeks, during which Amber’s husband will need to take time off work to take care of her and their two little ones. It's going to be a challenging time, and any support would mean the world.

**UPDATE 3/22**

Amber did amazing during surgery and her surgeon confirmed that the herniation was worst than what imaging showed. She is a little warrior and is already working hard to heal and started to walk as soon as she got to her room and was cleared to do so. Thank you all again for your support while our family rock is healing. The amount of stress she has had is slowly but surely being relieved!❤️‍
