Holiday Farm Fire

On September 8th my husband Sonny and I were evacuated from our home in Vida Oregon at about 2:30am because of the Holiday Farm /Blue River Oregon fire just near Goodpasture Road my husband heard someone talking over the Bullhorn from an emergency vehicle...what they were saying was unclear we had no power nor phone services. My husband by chance had turned on his phone and our friend James desperately tried to reach us...my husband returned his call and that is how we discovered that we were on a level three evacuation notice...which just means go. So, needless to say we lost all of our family momentos, family photos, our home and three vehicles. The day we were Escorted to our property the only thing that remained was three of our front porch columns. It was all very tragic and devastating to us and many neighbors. 40 of the homes on our road alone were completely destroyed. We have had several friends who wanted to help and suggested that we start a gofundme account. So, here it is. We thank all of you for your love, concern and kindness. We are currently in the process navigating the whole insurance thing and hope to rebuild and return to our home one day. Have a blessed day!
