As some of you may already know Ive been dealing with a GI bleed that left me severely anemic and out of work for quite some time already. I spent most of a week in the hospital, receiving blood transfusions and going through rounds of testing and procedures to figure out the cause and location of the bleed. I have a family history of a congenital defect, called a meckel's diverticulum, which can include complications including bleeding in the small intestine that is likely to be the cause, it is, however, yet to be confirmed.
I hate to ask for help but I've just about run out of cash and maxed out my credit cards, along side thousands of dollars in medical and other bills piling up. My Dr told me based on my bloodwork I should be able to slowly start going back to work while we continue to diagnose and treat the cause of the bleeding. However, we are unsure yet how much i will be able to work until we get the problem taken care of and it will be weeks minimum before I start receiving any income again. Any help I receive will go towards covering medical and living expenses during this period.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope you will share and please consider donating if you are able.
Update 9/22: Very much appreciate everyone who was able to share and support. I was able to good chunk of the most time sensitive bills paid off and hopefully that will keep me from drowning in late payments and interest. Today is my first trial day going back to work so if all goes well I should have a little bit of income back in a few weeks. feeling a little nervous about that, its been pretty long since ive been able to keep up that level of sustained energy so fingers crossed.
