FSU Strong: Helping Victims & Honoring Lives Lost
Donation protected
On Thursday, April 17th, 2025, the Florida State University community was shaken by an unimaginable tragedy when an active shooter opened fire on campus. As members of the Undergraduate Chapter of the American Medical Women's Association at FSU, our hearts are with the victims, their loved ones, and every individual affected by this devastating act of violence.
We are launching this fundraiser to provide direct support to those impacted. Once the funds are collected, we will reach out to and work closely with the victims and their families to ensure the donations are distributed respectfully and transparently. Contributions will go toward medical expenses for those hospitalized, as well as memorial costs for the families of those who tragically lost their lives. If we are unable to locate a verified way to deliver these funds to all victims, leftover funds will be donated to the FSU Division of Student Affairs- Student Emergency Fund created by the FSU Foundation. This fund was created by the FSU Foundation to supports students affected by helping with medical bills, tuition, etc..
We encourage all who are able to join us in standing with our FSU family during this time of mourning and healing.
