Curt's Medical Fund

Donation protected
My father-in-law Curt is going through probably one of the hardest times of his life. He has known he was sick for some time, approximately 7 years, and had been asking doctors to look deeper and continue to check him for something to be wrong. I've seen this man endure all kinds of pain and muscle through it. He never gives up. After time and time again of asking doctors to search for answers because there is no possible way a healthy human can feel like this, his doctors finally came back with an answer, but nothing prepared our family for what happened next.

September 2017:

Curt woke up in the middle of the night. Sick, very sick. His body screaming at him in agony. Suzi, his wife, woke up with him and drove him to HonorHealth Deer Valley Emergency Room. After hours of waiting, the doctor came back with news. They found a tumor engulfing Curt's kidney. Now he has an answer and is at least on the track to the correct treatmeant.

In the meantime, he would see 4 different doctors to measure the mass, check other vital organs and see if he was able and healthy enough to be operated on. He was. Thank God it was a slow growing tumor according to the doctors, because this is 7 years worth of growth.

November 29th 2017:

Curt goes to the hospital for surgery, which was successful and a fraction of the time expected. It was found  the tumor measured over a foot long.
The mass was tested, Curt was diagnosed with cancer. He has to have 30 radiation treatments to prevent any future growth and has a few weeks left to complete.

Curt is recovering beautifully, but he still has another surgery coming up and medical bills and still building up as well as pesky home bills that never leave us alone. Suzi is a great wife and does everything she can to take care of Curt when the time allows, but she still has to fine a balance between work and care for Curt.

My Goal:

No one likes to ask for help. Let's be real and honest here, but we also don't want to watch our loved ones struggle either. If there is any way any one of my friends can donate a dollar or two and share this post and if you could encourage your friends to do the same it would be greatly appreciated.
