Hello everyone. Never did I imagine I would be creating one of these accounts. I come to you all with a heavy heart asking for help. On Friday August 7, 2020 my mom Rosalia was diagnosed with a tumor to T2. She had been having constant pain from her mid back up to her neck since October of 2019. The doctor ran tests and nothing. After that she had pain to both of her arms more so her right. She would say it felt like her muscles were hurting. She’s been in and out of the doctor since. About three weeks ago she became very weak. To the point she would collapse from a standing position. The doctor ran multiple blood tests unable to find anything out of the norm. My mom complained of that constant pain. Soon after the weakness rolled in and then the numbness from under her chest down to her feet. Constant cold legs from the knee down and pale feet. The doctor could not find what was wrong. We asked for X-rays they were done and nothing. The doctor said said there was nothing more he could do. We seemed help from a chiropractor hoping it would help my mom. On the second visit he asked me a few questions. He wanted an MRI and was curious as to why my mom’s doctor had not ordered one already. My dad demanded an MRI on her last visit to her PCP which was Wednesday. The earliest they could set up an appointment was today Monday. My dad packed some belongings up and took my mom to Reynosa early Friday morning she had an MRI done thus revealing what was going on. My mom is currently in a wheelchair and has no control over her lower extremities. She needs help getting up and laying down from bed, bathing, using the restroom, brushing her hair. Basic things that three weeks ago she was able to do on her own. The doctor spoke with my dad and told him that there was a 95% chance that it is cancer. Today we will be calling the doctor who diagnosed her to set up a biopsy. From there we will find out whether it’s benign or cancerous. Since the biopsy will be done in Mexico there is no insurance to cover. My dad will be taking time off from work to be with my mom. I ask for y’all’s help if possible and prayers. My mom needs a miracle, and I know there is one out there just for her because she needs it more than ever. God bless you all.
