As far back as I can remember, I have wanted to travel to Europe. My school is offering a trip to London and Paris for a small group. The trip cost is $2800 for 8 days on April vacation in 2016. This cost will require a lot of work and creative fundraising and I am willing to do it. I really want to be able to make my dreams come true and work towards my goal for the money needed for the trip. I am in French III and the idea of being able to see the country where this language comes from is exciting. In England the itinerary is Thames River, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, Piccadily Circus, Coventry Garden, Leicester Square, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, both Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, Hyde Park, St. Paul's Cathedral and Hard Rock Cafe with an evening Jack the Ripper walking tour. Then we would take the Eurostar to Paris and see Notre Dame Cathedral, walk along Ile St. Louis on the Seine River, visit the Latin Quarter, do a Ile da Cite treasure hunt, with a tour guide visit the Arc de Triomphe, Stroll the Champ-Élysées, go to Champs de Nars for pics of Eiffel Tower, visit the Opera House, Ecole Militaire, Les Invalides, the Conciergerie, the Tuileries Palace and Vendome and finish off with a visit to the Louvre and da Vinci's Mona Lisa, and a local guided tour of Montmarte and Sacre-Couer. This short trip will offer me a lifetime of memories and an experience I would never forget.
