Christina’s Road to Recovery

On June 23, 2023 Christina Matson’s life turned upside down. Christina, at only 34 years old suffered a stroke. Christina was transported to her local hospital where it was determined she needed to be transported to Dallas. In the process of Christina being transported, she went into cardiac arrest requiring her to have compressions performed for over 6 minutes. Christina died but by the grace of God, she was revived. After arriving at the hospital, the list of ailments only started to pile up. Christina was placed on life support, has had to have brain surgery and although the list goes on, I am happy to report, Christina is on the road to what is going to be a very long recovery. Throughout this entire ordeal, Christina’s parents Ida and Chris have not left her side which as we all know has come with a list of expenses.
