Today is my birthday. Actually, it’s not today. It’s one more week to go. It is on Saturday, 7th of August to be precise.

Frankly, I don’t care. I’ve never cared about my own double digits. Why would you if you are only getting younger, stronger and wiser with each year to come!

But …. This year, there is ONE HUGE BUT …. hanging like an awful axe over my neck. ☠️

This year, this week, today and tomorrow … A large number of cheeky little kiddos, who happen to be my Nico’s fellow liver disease warriors, are doing it super tough … some in coma with their families praying for them to wake up, some awaiting liver transplants tied to the beeping machines too sick to go home, some in ER or ICU getting poked, cut and pinned because they have never been given a choice.

What if you and I, could ease their unbearable suffering?

What if you and I, could help spend them more time home?

What if you and I, could gift them just one extra day, one extra week or one extra life to live with their mom and dad?
