Hello, my name is Anthony and I am starting this GoFundme for my cousins Jay and Valerie Chapman. Sometime last year my sweet cousin Valerie was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon cancer. This was devasting for the family to say the least. While we were dealing with the news of her, her husband Jay went to the doctor for some complications. While he was dealing with those issues in the hospital, they diagnosed him with stage 4 Colon cancer. This news again was a shock to the whole family and their 12-year-old son Riley. It was shocking to us that a husband and wife can have the exact same cancer and they're both in their 40s. After being in and out of the hospital the doctors sent my cousin Jay home on hospice. They gave him months to live but in a short few days, Jay passed from this world. This fundraiser is to help with the cost of the funeral and medical bills, but also for medical bills for Valerie who is dealing with the loss of her husband, and friend and dealing with the same cancer. This will help relieve some of the stress off of her and their son Riley. Anything goes a long way and our family is grateful for all. God Bless!
