Hi- I'm Brinda.... I am a mom to a wonderful hardworking son, and Nana to five wonderful grandchildren. My daughter-in-law is the daughter I have from another woman who graciously shares her with me.

have been a widow for a short time now, but it seems like forever. My husband, Anthony was the love of my life and was taken to his heavenly home after a valiant fight with cancer. He fought until the very end.... We didn't think the end would come so quickly. 

Cancer is expensive, even with insurance and a supplemental insurance coverage. We are honest, Christian people and believed in paying our bills. So we paid and paid and paid. This illness hit us prior to the current protections under the affordable care act.

I work full time, and have been able to stay in our modest home, and meet my obligations. 

I am raising money for a furnace! Yes - the 22 year old furnace up and quit on me. It has been repaired so many times, no professional heating and air company will do anymore to it.

It would be a HUGE blessing to raise this money by January 1st. The sooner the new furnace is installed the sooner I can retire the iffy space heater. And, the chances of pipes freezing is minimized.

My husband and I have always helped others; from our family, to strangers and even founding an annual dinner for a women's recovery home ministry. 

Your help through this funding page is not an easy ask for me to make. I just truly have no other place to turn.
