This page has been created to help raise money and to lend support for some very dear friends of ours, Brannigan Carter and Tina True Edwards. Their precious baby Parker has been taken from them by DSS during a recent stay at a hospital after a doctor reported them. This doctor believes Parker has been neglected and that they are to blame for her small size and developmental delays.
They are refusing to acknowledge her previous neurological disorders and recently diagnosed zinc deficiency disorder as the reasons for her developmental delays and stunted growth (even though other doctors have told them those are the reasons).
Her diagnosis previous to being in that hospital
as far the neurological information goes is that she has Dandy Walker Malformation and Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum. These were diagnosed here in Wilmington. They are now living in South Carolina and Parker is in a hospital in Charlotte, NC. They discovered at this hospital that she also has a severe zinc deficiency which also plays into her being delayed in growth and physical and neurological developments.
They need money desperately to be able to hire an attorney in North Carolina to get her transferred to another hospital.
I know a lot of you film people here in Wilmington know this couple! They are generous and kind and have helped so many of you in a lot of different ways. I know it is the holidays but let's dig deep and do something really important more than getting gifts. Let's raise money and bring Parker home where she belongs!!!!!!!!! They are devastated and words can not explain how grateful they would be for any help you can give them at this time in need.
