Help Support Aaron Brady Mustoe and His Family

Donation protected
On Monday September 30th, during a family trip to Arizona, Aaron wound up in the emergency room in critical condition due to an inflamed pancreas. Blood tests, scans and ultrasounds revealed that he’s suffering from a severe case of acute pancreatitis that is drastically changing by the day. His body is compromised and currently requires a ventilator and kidney dialysis. He is not able to breathe on his own or get the proper blood flow to vital organs. The physicians are advising he will face a long journey ahead in recovering from the pancreatic attack but with his current state being unstable, we are facing a lot of uncertainty.

We are praying for his recovery daily and asking for your prayers, support and donations to support his family during this difficult time. Any amount is greatly appreciated and goes straight to helping his wife and three children make ends meet while Aaron is hospitalized and unable to provide for his family.

Update 10/7/24: It has been a very shaky week and we’ve had a lot of changes happen but as of today Aaron is still in ICU and critically stable. Respiratory began trials to test his lung function with the goal of removing him from the ventilator so they can focus on treating the pneumonia he’s developed. His kidneys are still requiring daily dialysis. We won’t know what recovery will look like any time soon but remaining very hopeful that he will be able to remove the breathing tubes and fight off the pneumonia so we can focus on healing his pancreas and improving kidney function. Thank you so much to everyone that has reached out with prayers and words of encouragement and to those that have contributed to helping Aaron and his family during this difficult time.

Update 10/11/24: As of today Aaron is still in the hospital in Arizona. After an intense couple weeks in ICU, he is finally off the ventilator and breathing on his own despite battling pneumonia. His kidneys and other organs are currently stable and no longer require dialysis. He’s working with a nutritionist to try introducing thick liquids and some solids to test the pancreas. The doctors are closely monitoring his abdomen for any changes but he has made a lot of progress these last few days, which is a blessing because for a stretch of time there was no progress. We’re still unsure when he’ll be able to come home but he is working hard towards recovering. We’re feeling hopeful and optimistic that the positive trend continues.

Thank you so much to everyone that has reached out with kind words and prayers, and to everyone that has donated to help Aaron and his family. The outpouring of love and support has been really powerful in helping our brother heal and the donations will contribute to keeping his family afloat while he is unable to provide.
