For a little over 14 years ago, my partner was blessed with a small fragile puppy, Mia. She beats any chihuahua sterotype by being the most kind and gentle guard dog ever! Mia’s growing up in a loving home, who cant say no to the McDonald fries she demands. With ofc the sifted head pats she requires to be a good dog. 

About 3 months ago, Mia has shown signs of discomfort in her lower left jaw area . One day her face would be normal and the next her face will be swollen. At first, we thought that it would later go away. That it must’ve been some kind of allergic reaction. Until now, we noticed it had gotten worse, with her breathe smelling rotten, and her sluggish more than usual. We’ve been having to buying her wet food just to get her to eat and small doses of antibiotics just to ease her pain. Of August 15, 2025 we opened her jaw to see what exactly is going on with her mouth. Shocked, we notice that there’s an infected spot in her gums full of pus and slime.

Instantly we tried calling friends, calling clinics, looking up remedies. After doing mild research, it’s certain already we have to take her to the clinic. But a visit alone is $200. We are taking her in, and possibly hoping to find out if she’s able to get the help she needs while also it being affordable. Thank you for your time, blessings, and support.
