Grant's Recovery
My brother Grant's struggle with substance abuse began in his teenage years, shortly after our brother Greg tragically died in a car accident at the age of 25. In the years since then, Grant's addiction has held him back from living the life God has for him. It has taken him down a very dark road, and there have been many times that he could have lost his life, if not for God's immeasurable mercy. Through all of this, our family has experienced times of intense stress and immense heartache. However, our God is faithful and has sustained us through the difficult times. We believe that His plan for Grant's recovery is unfolding now. When Grant turned 25 in February, he began to talk about his desire to change his life. In March he entered into treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. He has made great progress in rehab, and per the recommendation of his treatment team, he will move into a sober living community later this month. My parents are supporting Grant through his recovery, and between the cost of rehab and the cost of the sober living community, they are now facing a large financial burden. I am starting this Go Fund Me page with the hope of easing that burden for my parents. All funds raised will go towards Grant’s treatment.
We praise God for his faithfulness through this journey, and we trust that He has a plan for Grant.
