Hello. My name is Emily and I'm fundraising for my mother, Susan. As all who know her, my mom would do anything for anybody and now we need to ask for some help for her. Mom was diagnosed in the summer with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and in a pretty severe state. She has had multiple long stints in the hospital, alongside all of the chemo visits, additional visits for becoming anemic due to the chemo and more. She is waging the battle with amazing doctors but there is still much to be fought and the medical bills are starting to come in. As we all know, the cost of medical bills in the US is staggering and this is no exception. With my Mom retired and Dad looking to retire, this is just an added element that will keep my Dad working well into his 70s without assistance. We are asking for some assistance on those bills, with any leftover funds (if any), going to the wonderful people at Dana Farber who are saving her life.
