Hey everyone, it's Nicole. Our dog Hunter needs help, please!!!! I woke up at 6 am Saturday morning. I came down to Hunter not feeling good at all. He was very weak and didn't want to go outside or anything. Well, he had a seizure, and he usually acts weird after them for the day because he's weak from it. Well, Saturday night he began puking. He hasn't been able to keep hardly anything down. We couldn't afford the emergency vet, so we made him as comfortable as possible for the weekend. I called the vet Monday morning to get him in. We got there at 10 am Monday. He did tests and an X-ray. He is full of hookworms. He also has yellow eyes. They did a blood test, and it came back that he's anemic, has low white blood cells, and a bunch of other stuff that I can't remember because it was a lot of information. But we are asking for help to get Hunter better. I've had him since 2017. I'm definitely not ready to let him go yet. He's 11, and I know he has it in him to live longer. We spent part of our mortgage to get him started on the help he needs. But now we have to come up with that money on my fiancé's paychecks. No amount is too small. He has to go back tomorrow (10/22/2025). He needs more dewormer (he puked it up), but the doctor isn't charging for that this round. He's getting a stronger dose of anti-vomit meds, he needs more fluids because his electrolytes are low, and we got amoxicillin his last visit and dewormer. We hate to even ask for help, but we're desperate right now. Donate or share, please help spread the word!!!! I did ask for an estimate, so I will upload that once we get it. I'm guessing around $725 again. You can call the vet; it's on the pictures circled. It's under my name, Nicole Beckerich, for Hunter.
