P2P Student Ambassador Program

My son Michael Terry is currently  a Junior at Russell County High School and a current member of RCHS Band. Michael  was selected to be apart of the Student Ambassador program which will be traveling to China (Great Wall and Beyond)  this summer. We are currently doing several fund raising events to support a trip of a life time.  The trip is a 17 day journey  in which he will 
learn how to cook dim sum, take a Kung fu lesson at a Chinese school, enter the gates of the Forbidden City, get up close with Giant pandas at the Beijing Zoo, step into ancient history at the Great Wall and see the terra-cotta warriors and meet one of the men who discovered them.

Furthermore, through the process of raising funds for this trip he will learn persistence, and he will learn about the generosity of others. Michael has to raise about $7,000 which will help cover the expenses of the trip, gas money to and from the pre-trip meetings, and help to get his the things he will need for his trip including a passport.
