Fundraiser for the Islay Highschool

Hey there,

my name is Philippe, I am 20 years old and currently in my gapyear between highschool and university. In the last 6 months I have tried to get a job on the beautiful island of Islay in Scotland as a visitor center assistant at one of the many whiskey distilleries. Due to the harsh Brexit regulations it wasn`t meant to be. After sadly giving up on this childhood dream of mine, I decided to enlist at my hometown University of Zurich. Before starting my studies I decided to visit Islay one more time this July and set my self a challange by getting there by bike. From the end of June to the begining of July I will therefore be driving on a 1'740.6 km-long journey from Zurich, Switzerland to Bowmore, Isle of Islay, Scotland. In addition to this challenge I would love to raise some money for a good cause, which would benefit the local comunity on Islay. For this reason, I have decided to start a fundraiser for the Islay Highschool in Bowmore. With your donation they can fund all sorts of extra curicular activities.

Help me to help them by pledging a certain amount per km of the trip. Here are some examples:

0.01 CHF x 1'740.6 km ≈ 17.40 CHF

0.05 CHF x 1'740.6 km ≈ 87.05 CHF

0.10 CHF x 1'740.6 km ≈ 174.10 CHF

Every donation is very much appreciated. My goal is to raise 2'500 CHF, but the sky is the limit.
