STILL FIGHTING... Hit and run Motorcycle crash

Chris is a happy, fun, bright, hard working, loving 24 year old who helps everyone he can. However, this compromises the future ahead of him. At 2:30am September 18th when he was was involved in a hit & run accident on his motorcycle near  Courtland Boulevard and Ft Smith in Deltona, Florida. Currently in the ICU suffering several very severe injuries, including one of the top 5 worst elbow breaks the surgeon has ever seen, & the possible loss of his leg which the hospital is fighting their hardest to save! Chris has undergone many surgeries & is expected to go through more. On top of the medical expenses from all of this he will also need to move where family can help him, go through physical therapy, possibly have to pay for prosthetics, & much more. We have made this Gofundme because no young person should ever have to go through what he is right now, & we just want to help him focus on recovery without also having to stress on the financial burdens coming his way too.  Also, if anyone has any information on the hit & run around please contact Volusia County Sheriffs Department. We are looking for a person who was there at 2:30am September 18th 2022 driving a red truck in the vicinity of 700 Courtland Blvd in Deltona FL.. It has a busted rear right tail light, and possible damage from the accident on the bed of the truck. Any info is appreciated as the family believes Chris deserves justice.
