Help Linda with Medical Bills

Hello, my name is Linda and a year ago I had a medical crisis that has since changed my life. My health was permanently affected leaving me in constant pain, unable to walk well and no longer able to work. I supplemented my Social Security by being a pet and home sitter but I’m no longer able to do that. I’m drowning in overwhelming medical bills and my Social Security doesn’t come close to getting me through the month. I decided to try a consolidation company to deal with my bills which instantly destroyed my struggling credit score. I’m very lucky though. I count my blessings every day, although I’m not very healthy and have several chronic medical conditions. I’m reaching out to anyone who can help even a little bit because I’m drowning financially. It’s so awfully stressful to get half way through the month and not be able to buy even the basics. Today I received an almost $15,000 bill from the rehab facility I was in for 3 months where they taught me how to walk again after I lost most of the use of my left leg from a Staph infection that became septic. Three weeks in the hospital and surgery that resulted in permanent nerve damage sealed the deal. I had Medicare and insurance but the bills keep coming in anyway. I don’t stand a chance with these bills when milk and bread are beyond me. I don’t qualify for Medicaid.

So I’m praying for a little “what goes around comes around”. Anything will help. My gratitude will be HUGE.
