Max’s best friend Shane has succumbed to his rare disease (Abernathy syndrome). He has been a fighter since 2018 and gone through more than any child should. Max and Shane became fast friends, and shared equal amounts of mischief and laughter during their time together in middle school. The Rupert Family is in desperate need of funding for up coming funeral and memorial service.
